Membership Benefits & Registration Procedure

What are the benefits of SCRS Membership?

The Collaborator Membership is a regular, non–merit-based membership that provides access to a global network of 14,000+ professionals, including academicians and industry experts. It offers an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and engage with the SCRS community.

Senior, Fellow, and Distinguished Fellow memberships are merit-based and offer enhanced recognition and benefits. Members receive an official certificate, an identity card, and a detailed reference letter outlining their expertise and the selection process. Their profiles are featured on the SCRS website, and they are provided with a secure login ID and password to update their profile information at any time.

What is the procedure for SCRS Membership?

For the Collaborator Membership, a registration fee is required to activate the membership, as it is not merit-based.

Senior, Fellow, and Distinguished Fellow memberships are merit-based and follow a structured evaluation process. The process begins with the submission of a nomination form, followed by an eligibility screening. Upon successful screening, a processing fee is required to initiate a detailed peer-review assessment. The Committee then conducts a comprehensive evaluation and issues the final decision. The complete review process typically takes 2–4 weeks.
